Throughout its history, BIC has always been committed to responsible business practices. Today, we see the rising importance of sustainable development as an opportunity to reaffirm that commitment and the values that are the foundation of our identity. That’s why BIC has been engaged in a complete sustainable development program since 2003.

Beyond being in step with our times, sustainable development for BIC means an attitude and the will to do the right thing. Following are a few of our program’s priorities:

• Design products that have minimal impact on the environment
• Maintain safe and clean factories
• Promote BIC values, particularly ethics, on a daily basis
• Contribute to efficient community activities, in particular in the field of education
